How long the Canada eTA lasts
The authorization is valid for up to 5 years — or until your passport expires, if that comes first.
Multiple entries
During that period you can travel to Canada more than once.
Each stay is limited to 6 months. The border officer decides how long you may stay on arrival.
With a new passport
The authorization follows the passport it was granted against. A new passport means a new application.
Finding the date again
It is in the approval email. Keep it.
